Field botany is fun. It is discovery and identification of trees, grasses, ferns, sedges, rushes, mosses and of course flowers in their natural habitat. It is exciting to know why and how they are growing in a particular ground and what other plants are associated.

Here in the field club we try to find all these answers and record whatever we find. We take books and photograph the plants as we see them but NEVER bring any plants for identification. Over the years of record keeping one can identify any change in the habitat.
